For Teachers & Schools

What is Neurons to a school?

Neurons helps primary-aged children build strong essential skills for their future. Neurons also helps children develop their creative skillset while encouraging them to get active for their own wellbeing and self-esteem.

Neurons provides a vital bridge between the school and home. Our goal is to provide a learning platform that helps children improve their literacy and numeracy skills alongside the previously mentioned benefits.

Neurons is powered by 20Twenty Productions CIC, a not-for-profit that works to support children and young people with creative learning, wellbeing, and social action. Any income made from Neurons will be unrestricted income for 20Twenty Productions, and will be put back into the community with the mission of supporting children and young people.

Becoming a Neurons school

As a Neurons school, you will be able to:

  • Give all of your pupils a free Neurons membership until July 2022, with a code unique to your school.
  • Benefit from various Neurons virtual events and public engagements.
  • Work with us to create a Neurons package bespoke to your school, so we can support you with Discover Days, focus grouping, creative learning, and activity packs.
  • Offer a free full membership to all pupil premium children. This is a relatively simple process whereby the school confirms how many premium pupils it has, after which we provide a coupon code that gives the same number of full memberships. The school simply hands out this code, with details of how to use it, to gain access to the full membership.

In exchange, all we ask from teachers and schools is for you to encourage parents to actively use the Neurons platform at home.

How to get involved

You can ask to become a Neurons School by phoning our team on 01354 652769 or submitting the request using the contact form.
